1. Who we are
Apparel Specialist (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Dhaka-based apparel sourcing and low-MOQ manufacturing agency. You can reach us any time at hello@apparelspecialist.com.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is needed to operate the site:
- Enquiry details — when you submit the brief form, we receive your name, email, and any brand, product, quantity, or message details you provide.
- Booking details — when you book a call, your name, email, and scheduling details are handled by our booking provider (Calendly).
- Cost-estimator images — any image you upload to the estimator is used only to suggest a garment type and price range (see section 5).
- Basic technical data — like most websites, our host may log standard information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal;
- Schedule and hold consultation calls;
- Provide and improve our services to you;
- Send you project-related updates you have asked for.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run this site. Each processes only the data needed for its function:
- Formspree — delivers brief-form submissions to our inbox.
- Calendly — manages call scheduling.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site.
- Our hosting provider — serves the website and may keep standard server logs.
5. The cost estimator & uploaded images
The cost estimator is a guidance tool. In the current version, the image you upload is processed in your browser to suggest a garment category and price range, and is not stored on our servers. If AI-assisted detection is enabled, the image may be sent to our AI provider solely to identify the garment type. Estimates are indicative and are not a binding quote.
6. Cookies & analytics
Our own pages do not set marketing or tracking cookies. Embedded third-party tools (such as the booking widget) may set their own cookies, governed by their respective privacy policies.
7. Data retention
We keep enquiry and project information only as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may ask us to delete your details at any time.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. To make a request, email hello@apparelspecialist.com and we will respond promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
