Every quote is itemised: fabric cost, trim, CMT, and our service fee shown as separate line items. You always know where your money goes — and why it costs what it costs.
We started Apparel Specialist because the market had a gap — high-quality manufacturing partnerships that actually work at independent-brand scale, without large minimums or agency opacity.
Most fashion sourcing agencies are built for brands that are already running — brands with buying power, an existing supply chain, and the leverage to get attention from large factories. Independent brands making their first 200 units don't fit that model. They're treated as a risk, asked to commit to minimums they can't afford, and left to navigate a production process they've never done before.
We built Apparel Specialist to fill that gap. Based in Dhaka, we have direct relationships with vetted small-batch production partners — factories and ateliers that are equipped for exactly this kind of work, staffed by skilled tailors, and able to communicate clearly in English. We act as the brand's local team: reviewing samples, managing timelines, and making sure nothing ships until it's right.
The result is a manufacturing process that an independent founder can trust — not because we make promises, but because we show every step of the work.
Bangladesh is the world's second-largest apparel exporter — home to over 4,000 garment factories, internationally certified mills, and decades of accumulated craft. The challenge for independent brands isn't capability — it's access and communication. That's what we provide.

Three principles that shape every client relationship.

We will not push you into production until the sample is exactly right. If a revision is needed, we say so clearly — with photographs, measurements, and written notes — not vague reassurances.
03
If your project isn't right for our network — wrong product category, too complex for our current capacity, or genuinely better served elsewhere — we tell you at the consultation stage. We'd rather lose a client than overpromise and underdeliver.
